Winslow Ct Studio

In the fall of 1997, Craig Parker Adams was looking for a new space to play & record his music when as fate would have it the perfect spot opened up & he acquired one of the world's first ever known recording studios designed originally to record sound for films. Located in the heart of Hollywood Craig had no idea that one day his super cool historic Foley studio would become known as Winslow Ct. Studio.  The musicians I’ve met & photographed have all come to the studio.

Craig Parker Adams with Geoff Emerick

Sometimes you get lucky in life and as a sound engineer it’s an incredible opportunity to work next to the legendary Geoff Emerick in your studio space. Geoff’s career started at EMI as a young assistant engineer. In comes George Martin & The Beatles & they enjoyed having him in the studio that he was requested for further albums.

All the images in the photo gallery are from me but Craig also documented his sessions & always took a photo at the end. In 2016 I created a documentary website on the studio using all his footage & stories. The site includes all the artists, albums & insights on making albums.
