The Beauty of Big Sur

I've been fortunate enough to have traveled the Pacific Coast Highway a few times with camera in hand and the California Coastline never fails to take my breath away. The drive to Big Sur is one of my favorites. Big Sur is home to some of the most majestic and breathtaking scenery in all of California. From the rocky cliffs and crashing waves, to the winding roads and lush forests.

The beauty of nature is a source of inspiration, helps one connect to something bigger & gives hope. In a time where most people are looking at their phones & searching for likes I hope my images remind people that real beauty is outdoors. When I’m out taking photographs I am embracing a moment & excited to share the allure of Big Sur. Like Jack Kerouac in The Dharma Bums, sharing the quest for something bigger.

Recommended Road Trip

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend taking a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway to Carmel, stopping by the many vistas. Here is the route that we take, PCH up to Santa Barbara -  154 to Los Olivos - 101 to San Luis Obispo  to HWY 1 to Morro Bay then up PCH / WHY 1 up to Carmel By The Sea & in fact all the way over the Golden Gate to Sausalito. It’s part of my many recommendations of what to do when in LA in my ShoutOut LA interview.
